Tough love is what you get from Oreke and there’s nowhere to hide, once you’ve signed up to one of the classes headed by the self-proclaimed Queen of HIIT. “You will sweat, you will possibly swear. But most importantly: You will feel great!”
She confesses to love the feeling of being totally knackered after having worked out hard herself. That’s what inspired the mother of two boys to pursue a career as a personal trainer in the first place, because it’s this feeling that makes us better persons.
As uncompromising as she might be, her secret as an instructor is rooted in compassion, it lies in her “ability to deeply connect and engage with people.” She wants to help each person achieve their personal best. “I love helping people appreciate their bodies. I love empowering individuals with exercise.”
That said, versatility is probably her greatest asset:
She’s a TV presenter, an all-round fitness expert, a qualified nutrition coach and has modeled for Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, and Huggies, among others. She’s a sports brand ambassador and a passionate marathon runner - “at least one marathon per year and often two.”

Oreke is also an ambassador for children with autism who helps fund raise money for differently-abled kids and young people. Her activism was born out of her own experience as a mom who had to get to grips with having one of her sons diagnosed with autism.
Faced with the diagnosis, she could either go on worrying or take on the challenge of accepting things the way they were. Exercising Wing Tsun helped her to forge the mental fortitude to stop mourning the son she could have had and start truly loving the child she has.
That’s why she today knows that “change is possible”. There is nothing scary in accepting that “nothing is set, things flow.” She believes firmly that the challenge going face-to-face with yourself makes you stronger. Today, more than ever, Oreke is “excited about the journey.”
A positive attitude rules when she professes that “everything’s a celebration, everything is an excuse to have a bit of a party.” Oh! And, yes indeed: she also holds a degree in Business Management with Law from Brunel University.
